Sue is the owner of Avenue J Jewellery, and she has created one of the most unique destination stores on the Sunshine Coast.
Her passion and love for jewellery began at a young age, and when you browse our collection in store it’s easy to see that her keen eye for beauty and meticulous selection criteria ensures that only the most unique pieces are added to our collection.
Sue’s passion expands across the Georgian, Victorian and Art Deco periods, to the modern. Her personal preferences are often influenced by mood and the season, and she loves the story that jewellery tells, from different times in history to the locations and possible historical connections. Sue began her career in a popular antique jewellery store in the Heritage-listed Brisbane Arcade.
It was during her 15 years managing the store that she was able to learn an abundance of skills and develop her passion for jewellery. Seeking a sea change, Sue moved to the Sunshine Coast where she opened a fashion store, Avenue J Couture. With a small amount of jewellery on offer, Sue soon realised there was greater potential to open an exclusive jewellery shop.
Within a few short years, Avenue J Jewellery has become a favourite of both residents and visitors to the coast, with customers describing our collection as unique, elegant, bespoke, beautiful, exquisite, and emphasised on quality. In offering both antique and modern jewellery, there is something in store for everyone. The goal for Sue and the team is to offer an opportunity for everyone to have a lovely, positive experience whilst finding unique pieces to treasure forever.
Payment can be made by PayPal and all major credit/debit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express) online or in-store. Other methods which may be clearly advertised on the Site from time to time.
Orders received before 12pm AEST will be packed and sent within 5-7 business days of order receipt pending payment clearing our accounts. Shipments will not be made until payment has been received in full unless otherwise arranged with Avenue J Jewellery.
Avenue J Jewellery uses a registered freight courier however next day delivery cannot be guaranteed.

Yes. If you buy a ring for yourself and you know your size, we can usually re-size it for you depending on how many sizes up or down are required.
